Each summer, the historic centre of Loulé, in Portugal’s Algarve region, transforms into a vibrant celebration of global music and culture: Festival MED. From 26 to 29 June 2025, the city’s cobbled streets, courtyards, and squares will once again host one of Europe’s most eclectic and engaging world music festivals.
Launched in 2004, Festival MED began as a tribute to Mediterranean culture but quickly expanded to include sounds and traditions from around the world. Now recognised as one of Portugal’s top cultural events, the festival draws thousands of visitors annually.
In 2025, Festival MED will feature:
