From February 6 to 8, the Alta Mora hills in Castro Marim will once again be dressed in white with the Almond Blossom Festival, a celebration that marks the early arrival of spring in the Algarve’s interior.
Over three days, the landscape is transformed into a unique setting, inviting visitors to follow walking trails among flowering almond trees, enjoy live outdoor music, and discover the best of local crafts and regional flavours. One of the most anticipated highlights is the iconic giant almond cake, which this year promises to impress with an impressive 44 metres in length.
