Mostly sunny skies …

The best weather in Europe!

Algarve is blessed with the picture perfect weather, a place where visitors can come at any time of the year, because the weather is almost always wonderful. Algarve enjoys one of the most stable climates in the world with its moderate and kind weather influenced by both the Atlantic and Mediterranean seas and its proximity to North Africa. The summers are pleasantly hot, but it rarely gets uncomfortable, making it a perfect destination for family beach holidays; the temperatures in the summer months from June to August can reach as high as 30°C; however, winds tend to keep the temperatures down a little with coastal breezes. It rarely gets uncomfortably cold in the winter, so travellers can vacation comfortably in the area all throughout the year. The winter from December to February remains moderate and mild with bright sunny days and the temperature during this period stands at around 15°C.

Many northern Europeans head to the Algarve in the winter months to escape their tough winters and enjoy the sun while saving on heating bills. The springtime is very pleasant and lasts for several months from March to May and is often a preferred time for many travellers who enjoy nature walks and of course for golfers. This is definitely a preferred season for golfers who flock to the Algarve in droves. Nature is enjoyed in the fall as well, when the leaves change colour on many of the local trees

The Algarve enjoys the best climate in Europe. With only a short period of rainfall, normally between November and March and over 300 days of sunshine per year, the highest in Europe, the Algarve region is blessed with the perfect weather for tourism or for permanent living.
