 Is a licensed real estate agent?

  •  Yes, since 1997. Our Government License nº: AMI 2196.

I don’t speak or write Portuguese, how do we communicate?

  • Everybody on our staff speaks at least Portuguese and English, but we also speak French, German and Spanish, so relax.

Is part of a franchise group?

  • We are not; we are a Private, Proud and Independent company.

Do you buy, sell and rent?

  • We do mainly mediation between sellers and buyers, however we will do long term rentals to accommodate and help the client with specific situations.

What type of properties do you sell?

  • We market villas / houses, apartments / flats, townhouses, semi-detached houses, plots, country homes, commercial property, off-plan, investment property and all bank repossessions.

Is it safe to buy property in Portugal?

  • Very safe, the rule of law is clear and well established for the property market, and Portugal being a full member of the European Union, you are as safe as you can be with your property investments. Portugal and the Algarve in particular are major investment destinations.

Being a foreigner, can I buy free hold property in Portugal?

  • Yes you can, actually most property sold in Portugal is freehold.

As a foreigner can I get finance for the purchase of a property?

  • Yes you can, we will be glad to help you get it, it is quite easy.

    Most banks are fully prepared to do that, at very good rates.

Should I get a lawyer to represent me?

  • Yes at all times, it is just good common sense, after all you investing in property, and too many details need qualified attention.

How do I find a good lawyer?

  • There are some good lawyers in the Algarve, we more then happy to recommend a few that we’ve worked with for many years.

Who pays the estate agents fees?

  • The vendor normally pays our fees.

Can I buy property in an offshore company?

  • Yes, you can. It is your decision depending on your specific situation; get your lawyer and financial adviser to help you make the decision.

Is you website updated on a regular basis?

  •  Yes, it is updated basically on 24/7 basis via our property database software management system and it’s fully dynamic and interactive.

To sell my property do you require an exclusive mandate?

  • We do not make it a condition, but it is in your interest to do so.
    If you give us your property in exclusivity, you are also giving us the responsibility to sell. We must then commit more funds and time to market your property more aggressively. You can demand.
    You have more control of the situation, your property is not open to many different people, you get a direct feedback of what is happening in the market and a professional relationship with your consultant develops. The results are normally a quicker sale for a better price.
